YouTube Videos Loading Slow? Here's a Trick to Make YouTube Clips Load in Seconds

,
HOW TO MAKE ANIMATION VIDEOS:

If you're trying to watch YouTube movies, there's nothing more annoying than having that "loading" animation come up just when you're about to get to the best bit. This is a big problem for many people, and although you may have a high speed broadband connection, you might not know that this problem has nothing to do with your Internet speed or YouTube. The issue is often caused by a hidden part of Windows which you need to fix in order to make the videos load up quickly.

The part of Windows which is causing your YouTube clips to load slowly is a problem inside the "registry database" of your PC. The registry is basically the central storage facility for the settings and options of your computer, and is where every application on your system store 100's of settings for your computer. Not many people know this, but the registry database is the most common cause of your YouTube videos loading slowly, regardless of whether you have a super fast broadband connection or not.

The problem is that whenever you run a program on your system, it has to read 100's of settings from the registry in order to run. These settings tell it everything from your Internet favorites to your stored passwords... and this means that when you're trying to load up videos on You Tube, your web browser is trying to read many different options from the registry to help it load up the content you want. The reason why these videos seem to load slowly all the time is because the registry is prone to getting many damaged and corrupted settings inside.

Not many people know this, but the 'registry' database of Windows is constantly becoming damaged and corrupted, making it extremely difficult for Windows to read the files it needs to run. Because each time you use your PC, 100's of registry settings are being opened and read, Windows often gets confused and saves many of them in the wrong way. This makes your computer unable to read the files it needs to run, leading your computer to slow down. This problem happens all around the Windows system, but because YouTube videos need a lot of resources and settings to load up, many damaged registry settings actually cause your videos to load slow.

To fix this problem, you need to fix all the damaged and corrupted settings inside the registry which is done with a "registry cleaner". This is a type of software application which scans through the registry and fixes any of the damaged or corrupt settings that are causing trouble. If you can get one of these tools to fix the largest number of problems on your computer, it will make your system run faster, and allow your YouTube clips to load fast as well.

You can make YouTube videos load fast by using a 'registry cleaner' to fix all the damaged settings on your PC. You can download a registry cleaner from our website.

Free Movie Clips

,
HOW TO MAKE ANIMATION VIDEOS:

Free movie clips are those clips that are available free of cost over the Internet. These clips can be downloaded from the website, which offers them without any charge. Free movie clips are generally released to popularize upcoming movies by providing the audience a sneak preview of the main attractions in the feature film, be it its special effect or its music. Releasing a movie clip over the Internet has become a useful marketing strategy for studios.

Free movie clips are released both in video and audio format. The main platforms targeted for free video clips include computers and laptops, which can be used to directly download these clips from the Internet and which already have pre-installed programs to view them. The other viewing platforms that can be used to view movie clips include cellular phones and portable video players, most of which do not have the capacity to download these clips directly.

In case of free audio clips, the main platforms that can be used to play these are cell phones and other music devices such as MP3 players and iPods. A simple method of downloading free audio and video movie clips to devices that cannot download them directly is to first download the clip on your computer and then transfer it to the device, using a data cable or any other transfer method such as blue-tooth or infra red transfer.

Before downloading free movie clips, it is advisable to confirm whether the website offering them is legitimate. This is important, since downloading movies or movie clips from an illegal or unauthorized website is a crime under the federal law.

As a part of their marketing efforts, most studios create a unique website for each movie that they release. Short clips of the movie are usually available for download on these websites.

Movie Clips [http://www.i-MovieClips.com] provides detailed information on Movie Clips, Free Movie Clips, Animation Movie Clips, Movie Sound Clips and more. Movie Clips is affiliated with Free Streaming Videos [http://www.i-StreamingVideo.com].

How to Teach to a Diverse Classroom of Students

,
HOW TO MAKE ANIMATION VIDEOS:

Each year teachers are faced with the daunting task of teaching
to a classroom of 20-30 individual students, each with their own
learning styles, interests, and abilities. Providing optimal
learning for such a diverse group can seem overwhelming. But,
there is a simple approach that can be used which will enable
all students to succeed, and that approach is simply using
variety and choice. Not only does this approach address the
multiple learning styles of students, but it also aides in making
them independent learners.

While the classroom still needs to have structure (routines,
rules, procedures), providing variety within that structured
environment can aide in providing optimal learning for all
students. Using a variety of instructional approaches such as
lectures, PowerPoint presentations, inquiry-based instruction,
hands-on experiments, project/problem-based learning, or
computer aided instruction, not only addresses the various
learning styles of the students in the classroom, but it can help
learners become more flexible in their learning. Most learners
do have a preferred learning style, however this does not mean
they are strictly dependent on that style to learn. They are
also comfortable with and able to learn from several other styles
as well. Exposing students to a wide variety of learning styles
will enable them to become more flexible learners.

It is also beneficial to vary the input devices used and the
resources made available in the classroom. Children have a wide
variety of preferred learning devices, therefore making as many
available as possible provides for this diversity. For example,
when presenting information use audio (songs, speeches,
interviews, etc.), video, books, posters, hands-on
manipulatives, food, and smells. Technology has made available
a wide range of resources, such as PowerPoint presentations,
live video feeds, chats, and communication. PowerPoint
presentations are a great way to present information using a
mixture of audio, video, animations (movement), and text. These
presentations can also be made available to the students via the
computer for them to review at their own pace. The internet/
computers also offer interactive learning activities that combine
movement, visuals, and sounds, such as virtual science
experiments. These allow students to conduct experiments
never before thought possible due to danger or lack of equipment.
Virtual experiments can be found at http://www.explorelearning.com .

Pre-exposure to material also aides in learning. The more
familiar students are with a subject the easier it is for new
learning to occur. Therefore, providing students with a
variety of pre-exposure materials can better prepare them for
new learning units. For example, monthly calendars that list
the upcoming themes, a classroom website with links to various
websites related to upcoming themes, books, magazines, maps,
posters, computer software, and manipulatives can be provided
for students to browse at their leisure. Providing a variety of
materials takes into consideration the learning preferences of
all students.

Novelty can be used to gain and keep students' attention.
People usually only pay attention to things that are of value or
things that are personally meaningful. Therefore, relating
learning to your students' real life experiences or interests
can catch and keep their attention. "Shock" them with an unusual
noise, experiment, video, song, etc. You can also present them
with a problem or project that relates to their real world in
order to gain their attention and interest at the beginning of
a unit. Issues such as environmental problems, problems with
long lines in the cafeteria, designing the perfect playground,
planning a field trip within the budget, local traffic issues,
etc. can all be considered. Making learning meaningful,
relevant, and interesting to your students not only gains their
initial attention, but keeps it throughout the lesson.

When planning your lessons it is beneficial to try to include as
many of the senses and/or Gardner's multiple intelligences
(verbal-linguistic, logical-mathematical, kinesthetic, visual-
spatial, musical, interpersonal, intrapersonal, and naturalist)
as possible. You can do this by using a variety of activities
in your plans such as songs, games, experiments, field trips,
real world experiences, interviews, guest speakers, physical
movement/exercise, small group activities, individual activities,
partner activities, cooking/food/snacks, hands-on experiences,
etc. Providing a variety of activities will enable students of
all ability levels to succeed.

Not only do students have diverse learning styles but varying
bio-cognitive cycles as well. Some students learn best in the
morning, some in the afternoon. Therefore, having a flexible
classroom schedule can provide for these differences. Also,
varying the times and types of assessments can give all students
a fair chance of showing their true abilities.

When applicable, it is beneficial to give students choice in
activities and assessments. This provides students
opportunities to showcase their individual talents and can aide
in classroom management as well. If students are constantly
dictated to and not given a voice or choice they can grow
resentful and "act out". Provide a variety of classroom
activities for students to choose from during structured and
unstructured times, give them several projects such as posters,
PowerPoint presentations, reports, interviews, videos, brochures,
etc. to choose from when assessing their knowledge. Giving
students choice provides them with a sense of empowerment over
their learning and can aide them in deciding what learning styles
and assessments work best for them, thus helping them become
more responsible for their own learning.

It would be a pretty boring world if all learners were the same.
Diversity makes the classroom more interesting and exciting.
Teachers should honor and respect the uniqueness of each
student by offering variety and choice in their classrooms. Not
only will this address the diverse needs of the students, but it
will also help them to become independent learners as well.
After all, is that not the goal of education?

Comparing Apples to Oranges and Peach Cobbler for Dessert

,
HOW TO MAKE ANIMATION VIDEOS:

My husband, Roger, and my son, Nicholas, share no blood. My marriage to Roger is my 2nd marriage and he is Nicholas' Step-Dad. They came together when Nicholas was 4 years old, and they get along together now about as well as any adult male and 13-year old male possibly could living in the same house.

Nicholas and Roger like so many of the same things that I often forget they don't come from the same line of people. They both love animals, particularly horses. Both Nic and Roger are collectors. (I jokingly call them hoarders though it's not really that bad.) I guess, though, the thing they relate to each other best about is their love of anything that grows from the Earth.

I have to admit that while I am a tree lover, I've never particularly enjoyed planting things and watching them grow. With the exception of a corn plant that I have kept alive for more than 10 years, I've really never been successful with plants. And flower beds... no thank you. I am quick to tell you that I enjoy watching the grass grow right up to the edge of the house.

When Roger and I married, it was an adjustment for me to be with someone who loves plants so much. We would be driving down any lonesome road in any sleepy town and he might say, "Pull over." Next thing I know, he's out of the car, talking to a lady working in her yard and he's back with clippings galore to plant in the yard. My yard looks infinitely better for his fascination with plants and I am infinitely grateful that I'm not the one who has to plant them and make them grow.

Each year, Nicholas plants a watermelon patch sells the watermelons for extra summer cash. This past year, he planted strawberries, carrots, garlic, and onions in the boxes in the backyard. I don't even KNOW what all he and Roger have growing in the hot house out back.

Both Roger and Nicholas particularly love fruit trees. They enjoy growing the trees, picking the fruit, and, of course, eating the fruit. Nicholas' dog, Lacey, even enjoys eating the fruit they grow. It didn't surprise me, therefore, when Nicholas quickly spotted fruit today that he had never seen.

It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon here in Mississippi so we decided to take a drive down south on the Natchez Trace. The Natchez Trace Parkway is a 444-mile drive through exceptional scenery and 10,000 years of North American history. Used by American Indians, "Kaintucks", settlers, and future presidents, the Old Trace played an important role in American history.

One of our favorite things to do as a family is to drive the Trace stopping at the sights along the way. There are some terrific wooded trails to walk down and each stop gives you some history of the area which we enjoy reading. One of our favorite places is Cypress Swamp. There is a beautiful wooden walkway right through the swamp. The cypress trees growing out of the swamp will take your breathe away. We never tire of walking through this serene place that reminds you there are things that last for hundreds of years.

But today, we decided to go South. One of our first stops was Cowles Mead Cemetery. Cowles Mead owned a tavern on the Old Trace near Natchez in the 1800s. After moving closer to Jackson, he built a beautiful home called "Greenwood" close to where we stopped. The only thing that remains of his home place is a tiny family cemetery. As we followed the trail back to the cemetery, Nicholas spotted some fruit that he didn't recognize. He asked Roger about it and Roger said they always called them "horse apples."

When Nicholas brought one of these horse apples to show me, I realized I had never seen them before. They are round, and about the same color as a green apple, but they are bumpy on the outside. These bump make a very interesting pattern. They look a bit like a round, green brain. After we finished the walk back to the cemetery, we stopped at the car and did some quick research to see what we could find about horse apples. (Googling from your smart phone while standing in at a historic site from the 1800s really makes you appreciate technology.)

It didn't take us long to learn that these horse apples are quite the interesting fruit. For one thing, there are male and female flowers on different plants. Before today, I didn't even realize there was such a thing, but Roger explained it's more common than I thought.

What we call a horse apple is better known as a hedge apple. Hedge apple is the fruit of the Osage Orange tree. The name hedge apple derives from the fact that early settlers used the tree as a hedge plant on their farms to create fencing for their fields.

In addition to horse apple and hedge apple the fruit is also called hedge ball, monkey balls and mock orange. To make matters more confusing, the fruit is neither an orange nor an apple. The plant is most closely related to a mulberry. Wikipedia says, "The fruit has a pleasant and mild odor, but is inedible for the most part. Although it is not strongly poisonous, eating it may cause vomiting. However, the seeds of the fruit are edible" Our research showed the smell of the fruit to be compared to an orange, but Nicholas and I both agreed that it smells more like a pear.

The wood of the Osage Orange tree is popular for making primitive bows. When we mentioned to Roger that one website -- hedgeapple.com -- says it "has the highest strength for primitive bows used in archery." He was surprised because he understood that designation to belong to the Bodark tree. So, we were not at all surprised to find out that the Osage Orange tree is also known as Bodark.

We were most intrigued with the fact that hedge apples act as a repellant to insects, including mosquitos and spiders. Supposedly, the fruit will keep 2 to 3 months inside and will keep all insects away. Nicholas took one to his room tonight to test the theory on the mosquitos that have recently been invading his room at night. We'll see how that goes.

All this walking and research made us hungry so we dropped off the Trace to find something for lunch. It wasn't long before we saw the Old Country Store at Lorman off to our right on Highway 61. I've always heard about the place, but never visited so we decided to give it a try. Fascinating to see the history in the old building, with its wooden porch and antiques and knickknacks lining the walls.

As we walked in, the owner, Mr. D (Arthur Davis) was serenading the customers. It surprised me at first, but Mr. D was so obviously enjoying himself, we couldn't help but smile along with him. If you want a "taste" Mr D's singing, check out this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vlljb2DnrLI.

The buffet lunch was good and the peach cobbler at the end was great! It was the perfect ending to a beautiful day.

Here is a quick and easy peach cobbler recipe that you can make at home, but be sure to eat it "Mr. D-style" with vanilla ice cream on top!

Quick and Easy Peach Cobbler

1 cup self-rising flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup milk
1 stick (½ cup) butter
2 cups sliced fresh Georgia peaches

Preheat oven to 350°. Mix together flour, sugar and milk. Melt butter in microwave oven and pour into disposable baking pan. While butter is still hot, add batter and top with fresh peaches. Bake 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown. If you can't get fresh or fresh frozen peaches, use 1 large can of peaches.

Of Montreal - "Hissing Fauna Are You The Destroyer?" CD Review

,
HOW TO MAKE ANIMATION VIDEOS:

This is a track by track review of the latest Of Montreal album "Hissing Fauna, Are You The Destroyer?" which was released this January 23, 2007. You can purchase it at your local CD store or you can just download it like a bad pirate from a music downloading service.

I've never been as into Of Montreal as I feel like I should be. I love psychedelic music. I love strange arrangements. I like their influences a lot. I love their Elephant 6 mates The Olivia Tremor Control and Neutral Milk Hotel. But something about Of Montreal has never quite fit for me. They have always seemed a bit too cutesy or something. While they definitely have the psychedelic thing going on with their wild arrangements they don't seem to have the organic and really far out feel of The Olivia Tremor Control. They also don't seem to have any sort of emotional impact in their music like Neutral Milk Hotel.

All of this being said, I still find myself getting their new album and being a curious listener. It's not that I don't like them. I'm just somehow disappointed by them. There's also something about lead singer/songwriter Kevin Barnes shrill voice that turns me off.

Now let's get on with this. This is pretty much a first listen to this album for me although I've heard the first track a few times before. This is a bit of a disclaimer because while I find first listens to be very interesting most good music takes multiple listens to really wrap the head around it.

#1 Suffer For Fashion - I find myself pretty annoyed by this track. There's a few cool lyrics like if "If we've got to burn out let's do it together let's all melt down together" but I find the production and overall sound too cute and too plastic sounding. The arrangement which seems to strive for surprises doesn't really seem very surprising to me at this point. I hate to say it but the thing about this track that really bothers me is Barnes' voice. I hate that because I know I hate when I hear people dismiss a great band that I love (like The Flaming Lips) because they can't get past the voice. It's like, hey this is real music it's not American Idol, it's all about the music! But sometimes I just can't get past the voice no matter how much I try. I just find his voice extremely whiny.

#2 Sink The Seine - This is a short one minute song that I actually find much more enjoyable than the first. It has a bit of a white album era Beatles feeling to it. His voice fits this song quite a bit more. See this is the thing, I dig these guys, it's just the overly poppy over the top stuff like "Suffer For Fashion" that I can't get into.

#3 Cato As A Pun - This song is very much linked to the one before. If you aren't paying attention to the tracks passing by you'd probably think they were part of the same song. There's some cool stuff going on in this one musically. The album is making a bit of a swing upward after the poor start for me.

#4 Heimdalsgate Like a Promethean Curse - This song is all over the place stylistically. It turns into a bit of an upbeat almost 80s-ish song during some parts. I'm not sure what to make of this one but I think it's pretty cool although I don't usually go for the 80s retro thing.

#5 Gronlandic Edit - Starts off with a funky bass and drum. I like the piano rolls that echo around. This song has managed to surprise me a bit with it's feel which is pretty sweet. The vocal harmonies that come in are especially wild. The album is definitely starting to grow on me now.

#6 A Sentence Of Sorts In Kongsvinger - All of the tracks on this album seem to go from one to the next in a pretty interesting fashion. It feels very cohesive. This songs sounds very much like you've just entered some sort of video game. The vocals are very catchy on this one. His voice fits this song much better than the first track. This song manages to be upbeat and overly poppy while it still has a lot of personality. I'm not sure how it'll hold up on repeat listens but I'm digging it right now.

#7 The Past Is A Grotesque Animal - This track is 11:52 long. So I'm expecting either something incredibly epic or very atmospheric/ambient in nature. It's starting off pretty promisingly with some very spooky sounds and a nice pulsating bass. This song is totally kicking my ass. I'm loving it. Very interested to see where it heads. Great combination of spooky, creepy sounds with the fast beat and great vocals. There's a lot of feeling in this one. Which I don't usually feel when I listen to Of Montreal. That's it friends. I'm going to have to take a toke off the pipe.

#8 Bunny Ain't No Kind Of Rider - This is a very interesting sonic space being created, friends. Stuff going all around here. Yeah, this is my jam. Some very interesting/surprising changes. Nice use of the pulsating bass again on this one. It really pushes things forward.

#9 Faberge Falls For Shuggie - This one starts off a bit like a trip hop track. Great bass again. This time it's a funky bass line. Kevin Barnes seems to be doing a bit of a Prince impression here.

#10 Labyrinthinian Pomp - Another surprise. I'm not really sure who Kevin Barnes is impersonating here. This is a very strange track. I really like where it goes about 2:30 in. Very suddenly spacey. This works very well. I think overall there may be a bit too many sudden genre shifts and whatnot, it can start sounding a bit pasted together with too much of that.

#11 She's A Rejector - I'm 50 seconds into this song and it sounds like it's been about 4 or 5 different songs already. I guess it really depends on what mood you are in, but it's sort of hard for me to take it seriously when it's changing so quickly. It seems more showoff than any anything and that puts me off whether it's showoff guitar playing with no meaning or showoff production tricks with no meaning. I dig that they are trying to quickly take you to different places. You know it's very schizophrenic and I'm into that. Really. But it just has to work. And I'm not really finding it working very well on these last couple of tracks. There are good bits but then it's just a little too unfocused with all of the switching back and forth. You know, I think a good analogy is when a song starts to sound too much like a "Mega Mix" instead of a cohesive thought that's when you are going too far with it. I should point out that I love genre bending and moving between different styles. I hate it when an album is really "samey" (usually, there are exceptions.) but there are times when it just doesn't work too. It's hard to really be taken anywhere different if you are never sure where you are in the first place.

#12 We Were Born The Mutants Again Leofling - So far for me this album really peaked in the middle. I think this track takes a bit long to get started. Once it gets started it's pretty cool. I like the layered voices. Overall though it feels a bit too repetitive.Overall I feel I'm a bit dissapointed again. There's some really good tracks in the middle of the album and some really nice moments in most of the songs. But overall it just doesn't hold together for me. I will say that as of right now track #7 "The Past Is A Grotesque Animal" is my new favorite Of Montreal song though. I'm sure I'll listen to this album a few more times, possibly it'll grow on me!

Playstation 3 "Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution"

,
HOW TO MAKE ANIMATION VIDEOS:

One of the finest game strategy games on PC s are produced by Sid Meier. They make one of the most engaging civilization simulation video games around. Popular titles like Railroad Tycoon and Civilization have always continue to deliver the most heralded game play. Thus it no surprise that the company move their popular titles from the PCs genre toward PlayStation 3 platform. And a good job they did, 2K and Firaxis together manage to translate that PC experience successfully towards the PlayStation 3 Platform.

In Sid Meier Civilization revolution game play, the idea is to take a civilization in the stone ages and through strategic planning built it up to the Space Age. When you choose which civilization will be your base, the leader of that civilization also have added bonus for your game play. For example if you chose Cleopatra, you might get additional interest on gold reserves, at the medieval age, population growth is increased by two additional percentages. There five difficulties level in this game. Use the first level as a guide. As you get more proficient, try the more difficulty level.

To play this video game, you can choose multiplayer mode using LAN or Single player mode. For those who had played this game under PCs, you will know the game can take several weeks to complete. But under PlayStation 3, it doesn't last as long but not in the least as unsatisfying. In the PlayStation 3 version. Micro managing of the game has also been removed. The graphics are good, bright, colorful and engaging with animation to the characters. The sound track are satisfying as well. Overall the transition form PCs based to the Next Gen game console like the PlayStation 3 is well executed.

The controls of the game are also simple. You don't need to be a computer engineer to understand how they work. Though the game didn't have the depth of the Pcs platform, the game play in the PlayStation 3 version is as satisfying and as well as entertaining.
