YouTube Videos Loading Slow? Here's a Trick to Make YouTube Clips Load in Seconds

,
HOW TO MAKE ANIMATION VIDEOS:

If you're trying to watch YouTube movies, there's nothing more annoying than having that "loading" animation come up just when you're about to get to the best bit. This is a big problem for many people, and although you may have a high speed broadband connection, you might not know that this problem has nothing to do with your Internet speed or YouTube. The issue is often caused by a hidden part of Windows which you need to fix in order to make the videos load up quickly.

The part of Windows which is causing your YouTube clips to load slowly is a problem inside the "registry database" of your PC. The registry is basically the central storage facility for the settings and options of your computer, and is where every application on your system store 100's of settings for your computer. Not many people know this, but the registry database is the most common cause of your YouTube videos loading slowly, regardless of whether you have a super fast broadband connection or not.

The problem is that whenever you run a program on your system, it has to read 100's of settings from the registry in order to run. These settings tell it everything from your Internet favorites to your stored passwords... and this means that when you're trying to load up videos on You Tube, your web browser is trying to read many different options from the registry to help it load up the content you want. The reason why these videos seem to load slowly all the time is because the registry is prone to getting many damaged and corrupted settings inside.

Not many people know this, but the 'registry' database of Windows is constantly becoming damaged and corrupted, making it extremely difficult for Windows to read the files it needs to run. Because each time you use your PC, 100's of registry settings are being opened and read, Windows often gets confused and saves many of them in the wrong way. This makes your computer unable to read the files it needs to run, leading your computer to slow down. This problem happens all around the Windows system, but because YouTube videos need a lot of resources and settings to load up, many damaged registry settings actually cause your videos to load slow.

To fix this problem, you need to fix all the damaged and corrupted settings inside the registry which is done with a "registry cleaner". This is a type of software application which scans through the registry and fixes any of the damaged or corrupt settings that are causing trouble. If you can get one of these tools to fix the largest number of problems on your computer, it will make your system run faster, and allow your YouTube clips to load fast as well.

You can make YouTube videos load fast by using a 'registry cleaner' to fix all the damaged settings on your PC. You can download a registry cleaner from our website.

Free Movie Clips

,
HOW TO MAKE ANIMATION VIDEOS:

Free movie clips are those clips that are available free of cost over the Internet. These clips can be downloaded from the website, which offers them without any charge. Free movie clips are generally released to popularize upcoming movies by providing the audience a sneak preview of the main attractions in the feature film, be it its special effect or its music. Releasing a movie clip over the Internet has become a useful marketing strategy for studios.

Free movie clips are released both in video and audio format. The main platforms targeted for free video clips include computers and laptops, which can be used to directly download these clips from the Internet and which already have pre-installed programs to view them. The other viewing platforms that can be used to view movie clips include cellular phones and portable video players, most of which do not have the capacity to download these clips directly.

In case of free audio clips, the main platforms that can be used to play these are cell phones and other music devices such as MP3 players and iPods. A simple method of downloading free audio and video movie clips to devices that cannot download them directly is to first download the clip on your computer and then transfer it to the device, using a data cable or any other transfer method such as blue-tooth or infra red transfer.

Before downloading free movie clips, it is advisable to confirm whether the website offering them is legitimate. This is important, since downloading movies or movie clips from an illegal or unauthorized website is a crime under the federal law.

As a part of their marketing efforts, most studios create a unique website for each movie that they release. Short clips of the movie are usually available for download on these websites.

Movie Clips [http://www.i-MovieClips.com] provides detailed information on Movie Clips, Free Movie Clips, Animation Movie Clips, Movie Sound Clips and more. Movie Clips is affiliated with Free Streaming Videos [http://www.i-StreamingVideo.com].

How to Teach to a Diverse Classroom of Students

,
HOW TO MAKE ANIMATION VIDEOS:

Each year teachers are faced with the daunting task of teaching
to a classroom of 20-30 individual students, each with their own
learning styles, interests, and abilities. Providing optimal
learning for such a diverse group can seem overwhelming. But,
there is a simple approach that can be used which will enable
all students to succeed, and that approach is simply using
variety and choice. Not only does this approach address the
multiple learning styles of students, but it also aides in making
them independent learners.

While the classroom still needs to have structure (routines,
rules, procedures), providing variety within that structured
environment can aide in providing optimal learning for all
students. Using a variety of instructional approaches such as
lectures, PowerPoint presentations, inquiry-based instruction,
hands-on experiments, project/problem-based learning, or
computer aided instruction, not only addresses the various
learning styles of the students in the classroom, but it can help
learners become more flexible in their learning. Most learners
do have a preferred learning style, however this does not mean
they are strictly dependent on that style to learn. They are
also comfortable with and able to learn from several other styles
as well. Exposing students to a wide variety of learning styles
will enable them to become more flexible learners.

It is also beneficial to vary the input devices used and the
resources made available in the classroom. Children have a wide
variety of preferred learning devices, therefore making as many
available as possible provides for this diversity. For example,
when presenting information use audio (songs, speeches,
interviews, etc.), video, books, posters, hands-on
manipulatives, food, and smells. Technology has made available
a wide range of resources, such as PowerPoint presentations,
live video feeds, chats, and communication. PowerPoint
presentations are a great way to present information using a
mixture of audio, video, animations (movement), and text. These
presentations can also be made available to the students via the
computer for them to review at their own pace. The internet/
computers also offer interactive learning activities that combine
movement, visuals, and sounds, such as virtual science
experiments. These allow students to conduct experiments
never before thought possible due to danger or lack of equipment.
Virtual experiments can be found at http://www.explorelearning.com .

Pre-exposure to material also aides in learning. The more
familiar students are with a subject the easier it is for new
learning to occur. Therefore, providing students with a
variety of pre-exposure materials can better prepare them for
new learning units. For example, monthly calendars that list
the upcoming themes, a classroom website with links to various
websites related to upcoming themes, books, magazines, maps,
posters, computer software, and manipulatives can be provided
for students to browse at their leisure. Providing a variety of
materials takes into consideration the learning preferences of
all students.

Novelty can be used to gain and keep students' attention.
People usually only pay attention to things that are of value or
things that are personally meaningful. Therefore, relating
learning to your students' real life experiences or interests
can catch and keep their attention. "Shock" them with an unusual
noise, experiment, video, song, etc. You can also present them
with a problem or project that relates to their real world in
order to gain their attention and interest at the beginning of
a unit. Issues such as environmental problems, problems with
long lines in the cafeteria, designing the perfect playground,
planning a field trip within the budget, local traffic issues,
etc. can all be considered. Making learning meaningful,
relevant, and interesting to your students not only gains their
initial attention, but keeps it throughout the lesson.

When planning your lessons it is beneficial to try to include as
many of the senses and/or Gardner's multiple intelligences
(verbal-linguistic, logical-mathematical, kinesthetic, visual-
spatial, musical, interpersonal, intrapersonal, and naturalist)
as possible. You can do this by using a variety of activities
in your plans such as songs, games, experiments, field trips,
real world experiences, interviews, guest speakers, physical
movement/exercise, small group activities, individual activities,
partner activities, cooking/food/snacks, hands-on experiences,
etc. Providing a variety of activities will enable students of
all ability levels to succeed.

Not only do students have diverse learning styles but varying
bio-cognitive cycles as well. Some students learn best in the
morning, some in the afternoon. Therefore, having a flexible
classroom schedule can provide for these differences. Also,
varying the times and types of assessments can give all students
a fair chance of showing their true abilities.

When applicable, it is beneficial to give students choice in
activities and assessments. This provides students
opportunities to showcase their individual talents and can aide
in classroom management as well. If students are constantly
dictated to and not given a voice or choice they can grow
resentful and "act out". Provide a variety of classroom
activities for students to choose from during structured and
unstructured times, give them several projects such as posters,
PowerPoint presentations, reports, interviews, videos, brochures,
etc. to choose from when assessing their knowledge. Giving
students choice provides them with a sense of empowerment over
their learning and can aide them in deciding what learning styles
and assessments work best for them, thus helping them become
more responsible for their own learning.

It would be a pretty boring world if all learners were the same.
Diversity makes the classroom more interesting and exciting.
Teachers should honor and respect the uniqueness of each
student by offering variety and choice in their classrooms. Not
only will this address the diverse needs of the students, but it
will also help them to become independent learners as well.
After all, is that not the goal of education?

Comparing Apples to Oranges and Peach Cobbler for Dessert

,
HOW TO MAKE ANIMATION VIDEOS:

My husband, Roger, and my son, Nicholas, share no blood. My marriage to Roger is my 2nd marriage and he is Nicholas' Step-Dad. They came together when Nicholas was 4 years old, and they get along together now about as well as any adult male and 13-year old male possibly could living in the same house.

Nicholas and Roger like so many of the same things that I often forget they don't come from the same line of people. They both love animals, particularly horses. Both Nic and Roger are collectors. (I jokingly call them hoarders though it's not really that bad.) I guess, though, the thing they relate to each other best about is their love of anything that grows from the Earth.

I have to admit that while I am a tree lover, I've never particularly enjoyed planting things and watching them grow. With the exception of a corn plant that I have kept alive for more than 10 years, I've really never been successful with plants. And flower beds... no thank you. I am quick to tell you that I enjoy watching the grass grow right up to the edge of the house.

When Roger and I married, it was an adjustment for me to be with someone who loves plants so much. We would be driving down any lonesome road in any sleepy town and he might say, "Pull over." Next thing I know, he's out of the car, talking to a lady working in her yard and he's back with clippings galore to plant in the yard. My yard looks infinitely better for his fascination with plants and I am infinitely grateful that I'm not the one who has to plant them and make them grow.

Each year, Nicholas plants a watermelon patch sells the watermelons for extra summer cash. This past year, he planted strawberries, carrots, garlic, and onions in the boxes in the backyard. I don't even KNOW what all he and Roger have growing in the hot house out back.

Both Roger and Nicholas particularly love fruit trees. They enjoy growing the trees, picking the fruit, and, of course, eating the fruit. Nicholas' dog, Lacey, even enjoys eating the fruit they grow. It didn't surprise me, therefore, when Nicholas quickly spotted fruit today that he had never seen.

It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon here in Mississippi so we decided to take a drive down south on the Natchez Trace. The Natchez Trace Parkway is a 444-mile drive through exceptional scenery and 10,000 years of North American history. Used by American Indians, "Kaintucks", settlers, and future presidents, the Old Trace played an important role in American history.

One of our favorite things to do as a family is to drive the Trace stopping at the sights along the way. There are some terrific wooded trails to walk down and each stop gives you some history of the area which we enjoy reading. One of our favorite places is Cypress Swamp. There is a beautiful wooden walkway right through the swamp. The cypress trees growing out of the swamp will take your breathe away. We never tire of walking through this serene place that reminds you there are things that last for hundreds of years.

But today, we decided to go South. One of our first stops was Cowles Mead Cemetery. Cowles Mead owned a tavern on the Old Trace near Natchez in the 1800s. After moving closer to Jackson, he built a beautiful home called "Greenwood" close to where we stopped. The only thing that remains of his home place is a tiny family cemetery. As we followed the trail back to the cemetery, Nicholas spotted some fruit that he didn't recognize. He asked Roger about it and Roger said they always called them "horse apples."

When Nicholas brought one of these horse apples to show me, I realized I had never seen them before. They are round, and about the same color as a green apple, but they are bumpy on the outside. These bump make a very interesting pattern. They look a bit like a round, green brain. After we finished the walk back to the cemetery, we stopped at the car and did some quick research to see what we could find about horse apples. (Googling from your smart phone while standing in at a historic site from the 1800s really makes you appreciate technology.)

It didn't take us long to learn that these horse apples are quite the interesting fruit. For one thing, there are male and female flowers on different plants. Before today, I didn't even realize there was such a thing, but Roger explained it's more common than I thought.

What we call a horse apple is better known as a hedge apple. Hedge apple is the fruit of the Osage Orange tree. The name hedge apple derives from the fact that early settlers used the tree as a hedge plant on their farms to create fencing for their fields.

In addition to horse apple and hedge apple the fruit is also called hedge ball, monkey balls and mock orange. To make matters more confusing, the fruit is neither an orange nor an apple. The plant is most closely related to a mulberry. Wikipedia says, "The fruit has a pleasant and mild odor, but is inedible for the most part. Although it is not strongly poisonous, eating it may cause vomiting. However, the seeds of the fruit are edible" Our research showed the smell of the fruit to be compared to an orange, but Nicholas and I both agreed that it smells more like a pear.

The wood of the Osage Orange tree is popular for making primitive bows. When we mentioned to Roger that one website -- hedgeapple.com -- says it "has the highest strength for primitive bows used in archery." He was surprised because he understood that designation to belong to the Bodark tree. So, we were not at all surprised to find out that the Osage Orange tree is also known as Bodark.

We were most intrigued with the fact that hedge apples act as a repellant to insects, including mosquitos and spiders. Supposedly, the fruit will keep 2 to 3 months inside and will keep all insects away. Nicholas took one to his room tonight to test the theory on the mosquitos that have recently been invading his room at night. We'll see how that goes.

All this walking and research made us hungry so we dropped off the Trace to find something for lunch. It wasn't long before we saw the Old Country Store at Lorman off to our right on Highway 61. I've always heard about the place, but never visited so we decided to give it a try. Fascinating to see the history in the old building, with its wooden porch and antiques and knickknacks lining the walls.

As we walked in, the owner, Mr. D (Arthur Davis) was serenading the customers. It surprised me at first, but Mr. D was so obviously enjoying himself, we couldn't help but smile along with him. If you want a "taste" Mr D's singing, check out this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vlljb2DnrLI.

The buffet lunch was good and the peach cobbler at the end was great! It was the perfect ending to a beautiful day.

Here is a quick and easy peach cobbler recipe that you can make at home, but be sure to eat it "Mr. D-style" with vanilla ice cream on top!

Quick and Easy Peach Cobbler

1 cup self-rising flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup milk
1 stick (½ cup) butter
2 cups sliced fresh Georgia peaches

Preheat oven to 350°. Mix together flour, sugar and milk. Melt butter in microwave oven and pour into disposable baking pan. While butter is still hot, add batter and top with fresh peaches. Bake 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown. If you can't get fresh or fresh frozen peaches, use 1 large can of peaches.

Of Montreal - "Hissing Fauna Are You The Destroyer?" CD Review

,
HOW TO MAKE ANIMATION VIDEOS:

This is a track by track review of the latest Of Montreal album "Hissing Fauna, Are You The Destroyer?" which was released this January 23, 2007. You can purchase it at your local CD store or you can just download it like a bad pirate from a music downloading service.

I've never been as into Of Montreal as I feel like I should be. I love psychedelic music. I love strange arrangements. I like their influences a lot. I love their Elephant 6 mates The Olivia Tremor Control and Neutral Milk Hotel. But something about Of Montreal has never quite fit for me. They have always seemed a bit too cutesy or something. While they definitely have the psychedelic thing going on with their wild arrangements they don't seem to have the organic and really far out feel of The Olivia Tremor Control. They also don't seem to have any sort of emotional impact in their music like Neutral Milk Hotel.

All of this being said, I still find myself getting their new album and being a curious listener. It's not that I don't like them. I'm just somehow disappointed by them. There's also something about lead singer/songwriter Kevin Barnes shrill voice that turns me off.

Now let's get on with this. This is pretty much a first listen to this album for me although I've heard the first track a few times before. This is a bit of a disclaimer because while I find first listens to be very interesting most good music takes multiple listens to really wrap the head around it.

#1 Suffer For Fashion - I find myself pretty annoyed by this track. There's a few cool lyrics like if "If we've got to burn out let's do it together let's all melt down together" but I find the production and overall sound too cute and too plastic sounding. The arrangement which seems to strive for surprises doesn't really seem very surprising to me at this point. I hate to say it but the thing about this track that really bothers me is Barnes' voice. I hate that because I know I hate when I hear people dismiss a great band that I love (like The Flaming Lips) because they can't get past the voice. It's like, hey this is real music it's not American Idol, it's all about the music! But sometimes I just can't get past the voice no matter how much I try. I just find his voice extremely whiny.

#2 Sink The Seine - This is a short one minute song that I actually find much more enjoyable than the first. It has a bit of a white album era Beatles feeling to it. His voice fits this song quite a bit more. See this is the thing, I dig these guys, it's just the overly poppy over the top stuff like "Suffer For Fashion" that I can't get into.

#3 Cato As A Pun - This song is very much linked to the one before. If you aren't paying attention to the tracks passing by you'd probably think they were part of the same song. There's some cool stuff going on in this one musically. The album is making a bit of a swing upward after the poor start for me.

#4 Heimdalsgate Like a Promethean Curse - This song is all over the place stylistically. It turns into a bit of an upbeat almost 80s-ish song during some parts. I'm not sure what to make of this one but I think it's pretty cool although I don't usually go for the 80s retro thing.

#5 Gronlandic Edit - Starts off with a funky bass and drum. I like the piano rolls that echo around. This song has managed to surprise me a bit with it's feel which is pretty sweet. The vocal harmonies that come in are especially wild. The album is definitely starting to grow on me now.

#6 A Sentence Of Sorts In Kongsvinger - All of the tracks on this album seem to go from one to the next in a pretty interesting fashion. It feels very cohesive. This songs sounds very much like you've just entered some sort of video game. The vocals are very catchy on this one. His voice fits this song much better than the first track. This song manages to be upbeat and overly poppy while it still has a lot of personality. I'm not sure how it'll hold up on repeat listens but I'm digging it right now.

#7 The Past Is A Grotesque Animal - This track is 11:52 long. So I'm expecting either something incredibly epic or very atmospheric/ambient in nature. It's starting off pretty promisingly with some very spooky sounds and a nice pulsating bass. This song is totally kicking my ass. I'm loving it. Very interested to see where it heads. Great combination of spooky, creepy sounds with the fast beat and great vocals. There's a lot of feeling in this one. Which I don't usually feel when I listen to Of Montreal. That's it friends. I'm going to have to take a toke off the pipe.

#8 Bunny Ain't No Kind Of Rider - This is a very interesting sonic space being created, friends. Stuff going all around here. Yeah, this is my jam. Some very interesting/surprising changes. Nice use of the pulsating bass again on this one. It really pushes things forward.

#9 Faberge Falls For Shuggie - This one starts off a bit like a trip hop track. Great bass again. This time it's a funky bass line. Kevin Barnes seems to be doing a bit of a Prince impression here.

#10 Labyrinthinian Pomp - Another surprise. I'm not really sure who Kevin Barnes is impersonating here. This is a very strange track. I really like where it goes about 2:30 in. Very suddenly spacey. This works very well. I think overall there may be a bit too many sudden genre shifts and whatnot, it can start sounding a bit pasted together with too much of that.

#11 She's A Rejector - I'm 50 seconds into this song and it sounds like it's been about 4 or 5 different songs already. I guess it really depends on what mood you are in, but it's sort of hard for me to take it seriously when it's changing so quickly. It seems more showoff than any anything and that puts me off whether it's showoff guitar playing with no meaning or showoff production tricks with no meaning. I dig that they are trying to quickly take you to different places. You know it's very schizophrenic and I'm into that. Really. But it just has to work. And I'm not really finding it working very well on these last couple of tracks. There are good bits but then it's just a little too unfocused with all of the switching back and forth. You know, I think a good analogy is when a song starts to sound too much like a "Mega Mix" instead of a cohesive thought that's when you are going too far with it. I should point out that I love genre bending and moving between different styles. I hate it when an album is really "samey" (usually, there are exceptions.) but there are times when it just doesn't work too. It's hard to really be taken anywhere different if you are never sure where you are in the first place.

#12 We Were Born The Mutants Again Leofling - So far for me this album really peaked in the middle. I think this track takes a bit long to get started. Once it gets started it's pretty cool. I like the layered voices. Overall though it feels a bit too repetitive.Overall I feel I'm a bit dissapointed again. There's some really good tracks in the middle of the album and some really nice moments in most of the songs. But overall it just doesn't hold together for me. I will say that as of right now track #7 "The Past Is A Grotesque Animal" is my new favorite Of Montreal song though. I'm sure I'll listen to this album a few more times, possibly it'll grow on me!

Playstation 3 "Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution"

,
HOW TO MAKE ANIMATION VIDEOS:

One of the finest game strategy games on PC s are produced by Sid Meier. They make one of the most engaging civilization simulation video games around. Popular titles like Railroad Tycoon and Civilization have always continue to deliver the most heralded game play. Thus it no surprise that the company move their popular titles from the PCs genre toward PlayStation 3 platform. And a good job they did, 2K and Firaxis together manage to translate that PC experience successfully towards the PlayStation 3 Platform.

In Sid Meier Civilization revolution game play, the idea is to take a civilization in the stone ages and through strategic planning built it up to the Space Age. When you choose which civilization will be your base, the leader of that civilization also have added bonus for your game play. For example if you chose Cleopatra, you might get additional interest on gold reserves, at the medieval age, population growth is increased by two additional percentages. There five difficulties level in this game. Use the first level as a guide. As you get more proficient, try the more difficulty level.

To play this video game, you can choose multiplayer mode using LAN or Single player mode. For those who had played this game under PCs, you will know the game can take several weeks to complete. But under PlayStation 3, it doesn't last as long but not in the least as unsatisfying. In the PlayStation 3 version. Micro managing of the game has also been removed. The graphics are good, bright, colorful and engaging with animation to the characters. The sound track are satisfying as well. Overall the transition form PCs based to the Next Gen game console like the PlayStation 3 is well executed.

The controls of the game are also simple. You don't need to be a computer engineer to understand how they work. Though the game didn't have the depth of the Pcs platform, the game play in the PlayStation 3 version is as satisfying and as well as entertaining.

Lawyers - 3 Reasons Your YouTube Video Won't Be Watched

,
HOW TO MAKE ANIMATION VIDEOS:

You've created your video. You want to show the world what you've done. You can't wait to upload it to YouTube.

Ready? Get set...now upload. Now what?

That's only the beginning. Now YouTube asks you for a lot of information. You need a headline. You need a description. You need keywords. You need to categorize your video.

Here are 3 reasons why your video will not be watched:

1. Your headline stinks.

2. Your description stinks.

3. You've placed your video in the wrong category

Headlines:

Want someone to watch your video? Give them a compelling reason to click on your video. You need a headline that catches their attention out of all the other visual media they are bombarded with on a daily basis. Want some ideas? Check out the latest grocery store tabloid. I'm serious. Don't copy their nonsense. Instead, look at how their headlines catch your attention.

Description:

If you don't describe your video, YouTube doesn't know what it's about. They can't index the video file, and instead rely on the written word to tell them what your video is about. If you fail to include useful information here, nobody will find your video.

Category:

As a lawyer, would you say that your video falls into the category of pets and animals, or maybe news? How about education? Maybe sports? The category where you place your video will often determine whether your video is watched or not.

If your video explores business disputes and you think that sports fans have more business disputes than the average person, I think you'd be making a big mistake by putting your video in that category. Think about this. Sports fans will be searching for sports videos. If they see a video with a headline about business disputes, do you think anyone will click on your video?

Conclusion:

If you're uploading the videos yourself, you need to spend the time to accurately fill in the information that YouTube wants. It's to your benefit to spend that time correctly. Creation Dynamics

,
HOW TO MAKE ANIMATION VIDEOS:

The Theory of Creation

Many books are in circulation under the banner of Creation though most, if not all of them, are individually selective. They generally incorporate only certain aspects of the Creation Ideal.

In a refreshing change, we now have these papers, which have been developed to explore our roots [from God] in a far more detailed fashion, reflecting the knowledge we have gained and the revelations discovered from modern day research.

The world often stumbles through moments of instability due to the unbelievable hostile depths a few people can sink to so as to be able to destroy the lives of the majority. Perhaps it's a good thing to reflect that if we were indeed created by a God, then surely there must come the day when everything might be put right by God and the world would then finally settle into a good and peaceful, lasting and safe environment. Then again, why would God let the world succumb to evil perpetrators in the first place? And often the evildoers think that they are right and doing the work of God anyway. So where does that leave humanity. Well, we have to go back to our Origins.

In our articles we will go back to a starting point before the actual formation of our own Universe, which is an area where other creation discussions usually fear to tread.

The core essence of Genesis, that it was God who began everything, may be a true belief for all of us Christians, but for many others this account just won't wash. Actually it becomes a difficult and unyielding standoff if the Creation accounts as written down in Scripture are simply declared outright as pure and complete absolute true facts. It is easy to say that if God said the Earth was created in seven days then that's that, but this allows for the charge of having a blind faith. Have you seen God, did you see Him make the Earth or even see God write down how long it took Him to make the Earth? Of course not. Nevertheless, this does not mean that Genesis is a fictional story or myth that is meant to be poetic and simple or allegoric, far from it. And the Genesis of the Bible is not linked to even older creation myths that have been found in the middle-east region, as some suppose.

In order to strike a chord of sense with an atheist, or even conduct a reasonable conversation about Creation with another Christian (who may be unable to grasp fully the concepts of our beginnings), then it would be softer and better in tune with today's modern world to talk more in terms of a theory. In our case, a theory gleaned from the Genesis formula, of a God inspired Creation, which in its own right, established the appearance of humanity and everything else that we see about us. This view of our origins remember is a very difficult image to explain, particularly when you are generally exchanging views with people who have absolutely no belief in God. If you start off by saying Creation is a fact, without any proper explanation, you would be dismissed (at best) as being very unreasonable. Remember we already supposedly have the proof of our origins through the Big Bang and the evolutionary models given by science.

So these papers will try to focus on God's Great Work of Creation as a theory rather than as a fact. This is not as a compromise to non-believers but as a platform to share so that we can approach the atheist or agnostic within a framework of rationale. We can only say Creation is a fact if we just accept that God said it so it must be true. This is okay to a point. When your parents tell you when you're young not to put your finger in the fire as it will hurt and burn you can accept it as true, in faith. Feeling the heat from a distance can reinforce this faith, just as - if we are so inclined - we can feel the presence of God. However, to understand why the fire would burn, some knowledge and learning has to be absorbed. This is the intention of our work, to absorb and analyse the why of Genesis.

The remit of Creation Dynamics is to assist in unfurling the mysteries of our origins, provide a durable and authentic data stream of good information and to relate to all the incredible marvels and sheer odds of our existence. Every issue will be packed with new information, new ideas and an abundance of thought provoking rational Creation theory. Never again will you be perplexed or lost for words in front of an atheist who downgrades the work of God. How often have you said (or implied) to someone that God created the Earth simply through His Great Design for the Universe, but only to then be scoffed at because the person you are talking to has not got any allegiance to our Lord.

We will start by looking at questions concerning why we are here and why did a Big Bang apparently occur. We take a look into the world of the very small (quantum physics) which in turn leads us to establish three very basic principles, tenets fundamental to the concept of proper Creation. So if you are looking for the answers as to why we are here, but don't want those answers to leave gaps, or seem far-fetched, or indeed create even more questions. If you're looking for answers that will satisfy your curiosity, reinforce the fulfilment you enjoy with our God, and have before you some extra explanations. Then you have just started the best read on Creation that you could have, apart from the Bible of course!

These papers are for anyone really, whatever age, believer or non-believer. Our quest is to seek an answer to that one big burning question that can lay dormant at the back of our minds. It's the one that asks, "How did we get here?" We do owe it to ourselves to find out. Join us and let's see if we can.

Answers
Could we really have the answers to our existence? Well yes we can, absolutely, but a number of steps will have to be made as you will see as we progress. There are hundreds of books on Creation and, alternatively, many about our progress from lower life forms, but none give the whole picture. Scientists have done their best to explain our origins, but they normally just point us towards a study of evolution. Religion of course points us generally in one direction too, and this is exclusively towards God. Millions swear loyalty to God and millions on the other hand insist that evolution is absolutely true. Many will actually try and merge these two theories. We also have a good many scientists who believe in God as well as those that say they are agnostics. There are a few people would you believe, who even think everything about us is an illusion! So quite a variety.

We have formulated information in these papers in a way, which will assist significantly in any debate on our origins. We also do embrace both God and science. If you believe in God you will love these newsletters, if you don't believe in God no worries, you will still love these newsletters!

The theory of our creation being activated from an instant kind of Holy Word or Divine Order, rather than us appearing on Earth through the more secular reasoning of development over eons of time, means we have to go straight to the Book of Genesis.

Here we find (after the Earth was made) God quickly proceeded to Create life on the planet including, apparently, man and woman. If so then when pray did He do this, after six days? The problem right at the start is in the alternative way we are taught, in a philosophy where science rules, which says the Earth is currently over 4 billion years old and it took millions of years to create it from interstellar debris in the first place. The best that can be said is that there is a misprint in Genesis and that it should say six million years not six days. However, there's not any misprint, it is six days. So how?

Also, the early life of the Earth had a heavy atmosphere that was very different to what it is today. Storms raged with a far greater violence than any we experience now, generating massive amounts of electricity, which took the form of mega-lightning bolts. The super-charged bolts thrust quite easily through the tempestuous gaseous clouds of the time, piercing the unruly primordial seas. These bolts of awesome raw power it is believed might have been able to somehow create amino acids the basic chemicals of life, during this furious battering of Earth's early oceans. And then it is said, with all the chemicals of life established, what need of God? This scientific explanation to the start of life on Earth though, begs as many questions as those that spring to mind when we are told that God created everything in a few days. Amongst the queries is the pertinent question of how the amino acids, assuming for a moment that they were indeed triggered by lightning, suddenly became able to replicate themselves. The key to life on Earth, according to the scientists, is that these basic chemicals developed the ability to copy each other and therefore create a life form, albeit only some sort of tiny bacteria. How did they get this ability? No one knows how the chemicals were able to suddenly replicate. And even if this was so, why is the Earth not just covered with bacteria today and nothing else. Why would bacteria change? The enigma we find is that if life did develop like this anyway, then perhaps it was God who sparked of the first replication processes (otherwise why did it start) but if you believe in Him, He says He didn't do it this way.

Thank goodness then for Creation Dynamics!

Before looking at life itself, we have to really secure the reasons for the existence of planet Earth upon which said life could live in the first place. This drags us away from the book of Genesis onto the subject which many take as the starting point for the creation of our Universe; the Big Bang. The idea of a Big Bang occurring out of completely nothing is a very popularly held view. What many people fail to realize is that the Big Bang would have been more like a Big Little Bang. Even after the onset of our Universe from such an event, our new cosmos would have been pretty small in it's early stages. Some think there was not even any noise. Some think there were not any noise and neither any light. If there was no light or noise then 'Big Bang' seems to be a pretty odd name for it, but as it is such a common term we will stick to it.

We live on what seems to be a pretty innocuous planet on the outer rim of a Galaxy we call the Milky Way, in a Universe that's got millions of other Galaxies. The Earth though is unbelievably perfectly placed by being in the outer part of the Milky Way and it is also at the perfect size and has the perfect angle and has the perfect sized moon and is at the most perfect distance from the Sun. There are many other kinds of perfection regarding the Earth too, such as its magnetic field, the seasons, the size of our Sun and so on. By the way this is all the word of science. Somehow then, in someway, the Earth has been made by a huge collection of random chances or God has made it. Either way, without all these perfect conditions, life would not have appeared, even if just one of the perfect conditions were absent. And not only that, but we have complex living beings on this planet, which needs its own set of perfect situations so as to be able to be evolved and sustained. Or of course, God made all the life forms.

Probably 99% of the population has believed without batting an eyelid that we were here due to the Will of God. However in the last couple of centuries this percentage has reduced a bit, which is natural really when you think about it properly, because diversification generally does go hand in hand with development. As new theories about our origins have been explained to us, we have had a dilution of emphasis over what was just the one accepted view. Where everyone would once of said we came from God, nowadays there is a plethora of ideas that jostle for supremacy over the reasons for our beginnings. Many think we are here due to God and others believe we are here through chance. Either way, we are here and therefore we are clearly the result of something having happened beforehand because as a fact, we can see ourselves and we know we exist. If you ever decide to make enquiries into our beginnings, at a library for example, it becomes quickly apparent that we seem to have all the answers relating to our origins anyway. These answers tend to change over the years, as our data becomes richer in technique and accuracy. On the whole though the answers are indeed available, but exclusively from the domain of science. References about God will probably only be found in a small corner of the library and will be lingering under the banner of religion. There is no way that you will find books on God within a section relating to our origins. Those spaces will be filled with books on the Big Bang and other like-minded theories authored by the leading professors of science.

It is easy to come to the conclusion, whether we like it or not, that the nineteenth century began with an assumption that everything existing was made by God, which changed to a mixed consensus during the twentieth century that everything was probably made by God, to the latest view that everything possibly was made by God. We are even at a more advanced stage in some countries where many people believe that God made nothing. These fast growing viewpoints, especially the latter, create some extremely difficult and awkward obstacles for any Christian or any religious person for that matter, to overcome during any discussions with atheists who tend to seize upon scientific information to try and embarrass and to show up perceived weaknesses in the arguments for God and the desire to believe in God.

Twin-Theories
Scientific research into our origins has been honed, tested, simulated, explored, dissected, diagnosed and reviewed. This deep analysis has been on-going for many years and its goal is to seek to thread a pattern and a path throughout the ages of the cosmos, which in turn will illuminate a galactic guide if you like, for all of our natural observations and to thus develop enough visual accuracy to align us up with particular theories about our origins that can be assumed to be as near to proper factual sense as possible. And primary to this attainment is an origins-theory, already so strongly entrenched in scientific thought that it's being practically regarded as completely true. This origins-theory has at its core an assumption of an event commonly called the Big Bang. It was this Big Bang that activated the first tick of the cosmic clock, showering New Space with all the matter required to sustain a New Universe. The origins-theory does not in itself exclusively do away with God, but it is inexorably linked to one, which does, a twin-theory that champions the various evolutionary mechanisms within every species. When both theories are combined then this particularly gives the whole parameter a power that becomes pretty awesome, enough anyway to obliterate the need for God. The strong co-operative twin, which is in effect a life-theory, relates to what happened when life appeared on Earth and how a series of biological and chemical sequences within early living tissue caused favourable alterations over long time periods to in turn create constructive developments in replicating organisms and thus encourage an inevitable progression towards more complex creatures.

The twin-theories are the cornerstone for scientific debate into the rise of humanity. Our existence is a natural result of an unfurling Universe self-assembling itself within proven chemical and mathematical frameworks consistent with the laws of physics and scientific formulae. This, at least at first sight, is the images, thoughts and findings of the highest minds of our societies over the last century or two. And so then, according to many places of learning, these theories are now facts. God becomes nothing more than a made-up supernatural myth.

And yet...

It is uncanny and a little amazing that no matter what scientific discoveries are made, millions (perhaps billions) still believe that God and God alone is responsible for our existence.

One day our great scientific research might bring us around full-circle and right back to a Godidit conclusion. What goes around comes around. Our history is littered with a 'humans know best' attitude. We thought the sun went round the Earth - wrong. We thought the Earth was flat (despite what the Bible was telling us), again we were wrong. We thought the Universe was expanding and now we don't, so again we now agree with the teachings of ancient Scripture! We think we can one-day travel to the distant stars. Almost certainly wrong.

Education of our origins is based so strongly on the twin-theories we could easily take them as the truth of our reality. On the face of it, this is as it should be; there is a high amount of evidence in support of these explanations and they are generally taught as factual accounts of our origins at schools in almost every country. Yet there are doubts. Quite why we should doubt the findings of great men and women of science is intriguing, but many do. Scientists are good, honest, caring and decent human beings, who display serious quality integrity and basically just tell us what they have found through their observations, their testing and experiments. So we should trust them. And we do. Except for two areas, two fields where we have an innate curiosity of spirit that nurtures seeds of doubt about whether they have all their data tied up correctly. These areas happen to be at the heart of the twin-theories presented to us by science as being fact.

Millions of people are not comfortable with either the origins-theory or the life-theory and more often than not people are not at ease with the both of them. That's just tough though as it is, say scientists, not the fault of the research done if the truth seems a bit unpalatable to God-believers. However, and this is where we dig a little deeper, there are millions of people who, though not comfortable with the twin-theories, don't really mind them being taught providing that they are highlighted as only having theoretical status. Make a note of this and listen. Next time you hear a scientist speak on these subjects see how much emphasis is put on either theory as being just that, a theory. No, they are portrayed quite unashamedly as pure facts.

So let's outline briefly on how the first theory goes. Thirteen billion years ago (give or take a month) there was a huge explosion that suddenly occurred in our Universe; well it wasn't exactly a Universe at this stage because there was only a sort of invisible realm where there was nothing, not only nothing but also nowhere! Hard to imagine but this is what we would have, no space, no time, not even any anywhere. Perhaps there was so much nothing that this in itself caused the Big Bang. Well, it is often said that too much of something is bad for you; perhaps too much nothing is as well!

In the dark void of emptiness came a sudden bewildering explosion of material, an eruption that not only came from nothing but which started everything off too, including credible space and the concept of real time, producing an outpouring of a quite incredible alliance of cosmic blueprints, mathematically impeccable formulae and a multitude of substances that all worked together simultaneously and harmoniously so that the mix would eventually result in the making of the Universe as we know it today. There also had to be a slender positive degree of favour toward physical matter over anti-matter or the Big Bang would have just destroyed itself leaving a state of nothing again. Cosmologists declare the Big Bang was an incredible event but this does not really do it justice. It would be fairer to say the Big Bang was billions and billions of incredible simultaneous events, multiplied by billions and billions of incredible random chances all multiplied some billions of billions of times over. This is the only way to come close to describing the production of an event that delivered all the building blocks needed to create and sustain a Universe; from what was previously nothing.

For a moment, if you take away just how incredible it would have been for this to happen and just accept the Big Bang as a fact, then it makes great reading and viewing for textbooks, videos and television. It is a nice, sort of simple way of explaining the beginnings of our Universe. Of course lots of fantastic special effects can be used to dramatically impress a mark upon our minds. However, before considering a Big Bang at all, we should try and address what would have been in place before the Big Bang or what forces would have been required to make it happen, if it happened at all. On the face of it we seem to have, as Christians, the Genesis account as an alternative to the Big Bang, although don't be too sure - just yet. Then even here we could ask the question as to what was before Genesis. Either way, something caused the Big Bang or something caused God.

New Testament
As with any Christian analysis about anything, we always must have our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ at the center of debates so when seeking revelation to these great-unanswered questions of our origins, we start not at Genesis, but from the New Testament.

We need to be fully aware and full of strong conviction in the writings of the New Testament before embarking on a journey that is by nature and en-route, fraught with many dangerous debating swords of unbelief. Many strong and poisonous attacks will come from all sides and your defences will be shattered quickly if you try to cover the Genesis account of our Creation without durable answers and thought out responses. There is a war going on for the supremacy of our psyche. If you say to a scientist that the world was created in seven days you will be shot down rapidly and left to whimper away with only a bruised faith (probably the size of a grain of mustard seed) to console you. If you are tempted to lock horns with a palaeontologist over the merits of whether we have evolved from animals you could be faced with the same outcome. And when we speak of God, the charge will be levied that by starting off with God as a pre-condition to research, then we are simply going to try to make the evidence fit in with the Bible and if it doesn't then we will just discard those facts, which will result in an unbalanced view and a distortion of reality. This is why we have to look at things from a God perspective by way of a theory, a theory of Creation. In other words if God does exist, if, then this is how the formation of our Earth and Universe may have developed.

Let us turn then to our Lord and make sure we have a firm grasp of our beliefs, so that we have strength and the ammunition to deal with situations which may be uncomfortable. For it is a fact of today's life that whilst there are many God fearing peoples around the world, there are also many that deem the Bible and other related Scriptures to be nothing but collections of dreamt up stories or fables, which are of no relevance in today's modern society. You will even come across those that think Jesus Christ is Himself a myth not only as a Divine Person, but also even as a normal man. So it is clear that problems in the understanding of the Bible can hit fairly quickly in the subject matter of Creation, so we need to take care. Although there are many good books in circulation that can help us grasp the exact meanings of Scriptural passages, the efforts of Creation News, made through the preference of a Theory Of Creation, is to look solely through the eyes of origin-seekers. We do this by looking at the information in Genesis and the Dynamics of Creation.

How to Build a Solar System Model - Learn to Make a Solar Panel

,
HOW TO MAKE ANIMATION VIDEOS:

It is possible to build your own solar system model without any prior knowledge of how it is done. All you need is a step-by-step guide to follow to make this a reality. You could build your own solar panel to power the whole of your home and live off the grid. An already made solar system model could cost up to ,000 to 000, but you would save a lot of money if you build it on your own. With as little as 0, you could build your own solar energy using a step-by-step guide with materials gotten through cheap sources, though very durable, to make your own DIY solar system.

Things you will need to build your own solar system model
The things as they pertains to your solar system are the tools and components to build the project. You must have all of them and there are ways to get for cheap, almost free. I will talk about that later on.

The things you require are:
You need a set of battery box
You need a DC meter.
You need an inverter.
You need a handheld drill.
You need a 20 volt solar panel.

I know you must be wondering where to get this tool and whether everything would still cover the 0 I promised earlier on. The short answer is this: write a list of the things you need and walk down to a scrap hardware store to buy them. It is possible to get them for cheap and the durable ones. The things above are not all need, but just get those ones first. After you have arranged all these tools, you can then follow the steps below to get rolling. The perfect place to do this project is your garage but any other place comfortable for you is okay.

Step 1
First and foremost, get a mini solar panel which is only 20 volt or much higher. As a beginner or as a way to learn it first before building a bigger one, let us say 1000 watt which enough to power your own, 20 volt is okay.

It is really possible to see a panel of this type and the easiest way to get them fast is to visit a local RV mall or a mini marina could due. It is possible to see the type sold for or even below that.

Step 2
The second stuff you require is simply a battery. You could be lured into getting a bigger one, but I tell you that a mini rechargeable battery is fine for this project.

An acid or lead battery that is just 12 volt could handle this project. Look for the deep cell battery types and don't go for anything other than that, this is so because they are made for steady use, and they last long too.

Step 3
You need to buy a battery box. It will serve as a protective cover for the battery. As you know before now that battery releases some drops of liquid; this is dangerous to living and non-living organisms. The battery box will keep your kid or animals safe from the potential harm of battery.

Step 4
Another stuff you need is a DC meter enough to suit the voltage of the battery and a DC input. It is responsible for transferring energy to the panel so it could be applied to various power sources in your house. In order to power AC gadgets in your home you require an inverter.

Step 5
Here comes the coupling section of your solar panel parts together to get them to work. With the aid of a handheld driller, join the meter and DC input to the upper end of the battery container. After you might have done this, get some couple of insulated wires to link the meter to your battery.

Take caution to see that you use one wire after the other and link the initial wire to its negative input. Apply similar method to link the DC inlet and the solar panel to the battery itself.

Step 6
After you are through with this, it is time to begin transforming the power of the sun to be used as a renewable energy. Seal the cover firmly using a cord and bring the whole product out to the sun. You can also fix it on top of your roof, if you wish. Relax for up to 9 hours and get set to enjoy the green energy you built.

Final word
This guide is for building a small solar system model. There are even more easy ways to build a 1000-watt solar panel to power the whole of your home. This way you won't have to even pay for power bills ever again and the good part is that you can also do it yourself. All you need is a video manual to guide you better. And the best part is that you won't be contributing to the pollution of our planet and help to lessen our dependency on foreign oil. I urge you to try this out for your home because it is the best way to save money electric bills.

Earth 4 Energy is a DIY Video manual which contains the easy to follow step-by-step guide you can apply to build your own Solar Panel Generator for under 0 in the comfort of your home. It shows you where to find cheap parts required for the solar generator and video guide to couple them together. If you want to live off the grid, now is your opportunity to build yours for less than the price of commercial made ones.

Discover a Language at Home - Learn Spanish Online

,
HOW TO MAKE ANIMATION VIDEOS:

Online Spanish Learning Benefits

In order to learn Spanish, the best way is to go to Spain. But what if that's not possible? Then bring Spain home. How? Through the internet of course. There are a number of sites and software available on the internet to allow you to learn Spanish online. But how would you know whether such online Spanish learning software teaches you the stuff you want? Will you be as fluent as a native Spanish speaker after finishing such online tutorials and will you be efficient enough to conduct businesses and carry out other occupations proficiently in Spanish? Read on.

First, determine the reason why you are learning Spanish? Is it to utilize your leisure or are you in search of some serious academic knowledge about the language.

If you are a traveller and want to learn Spanish for travelling purposes then you may start learning Spanish through the immersion approach. Since a traveller would have mostly aural and verbal requirements of the Spanish language it doesn't matter from where you learn Spanish since almost all online Spanish teaching sites offer this service. However, if you want to learn Spanish in a manner that you are not to be differentiated from a native Spanish speaker then you might need an online Spanish software that is not only accurate but covers all aspects of training - reading, writing, listening and speaking.

There are many tutorials that offer packages to learn Spanish online with such features for reasonable prices. Some of them are even free. Some packages also provide delivery of CDs and DVDs containing Spanish lessons in the form of audios and videos. Some sites offer unlimited access to their interactive Spanish language learning quizzes for free. These not only improve you knowledge about the language but also enables you to have some fun.

The World Wide Web offers many different ways for you to learn Spanish online. Some might require you to learn repeated Spanish phrases along with their meaning while some might flood you with Spanish words and sentences and then take your online assessment on the language. The Spanish audios available on the internet are recordings of native Spanish speakers uploaded just for you so that you may learn the exact pronunciation of the words. Alternatively some sites give you the option to select which country's Spanish pronunciation would you prefer studying.

An added advantage when you learn Spanish online is that the tutorials converge your concentration to the tutorial only. This is not the case in classrooms where you will be subjected to constant distractions. Moreover, the Spanish phrases that are to be taught are often presented in the form of a story powered by animation and pictures which makes it worth watching and enhances your understanding. The pictures are all realistic and provide an insight to the Spanish culture while the dialogues will train you for daily-life interactions to speak and sound just like a native Spanish speaker.

Portability is another factor that makes online Spanish learning so beneficial. The online software and tutorials can be downloaded and burned to CDs or copied to flash memories or portable hard disks and played at any location, such as while driving your car, or walking near the beach or sitting in the garden etc.

4 Family Outdoor Activities Everyone Will Enjoy

,
HOW TO MAKE ANIMATION VIDEOS:

Most families today spend far too much of their time indoors. Between television, video games, and computers, it is easy for families to forget that there is a great big world out there waiting to be explored. Taking time to experience the outdoors does not have to be fancy or expensive. Simply going outside and taking a walk gives you an opportunity to see and discuss new things. If your family has been spending too much time indoors and you are ready to make a change, here are four family friendly outdoor activities.

One of the easiest family friendly outdoor activities is hiking or trail walking. Most areas have some sort of park or trail available for people who are interested in hiking. With this activity, the key is to build up stamina slowly. Do not start out by taking your family on a six mile hike. Start with a mile or two of scenic trail. Wear good shoes and use a backpack to carry water and a few snacks. Do some research ahead of time and find out what animals or landmarks you can expect to see. This will give your children something to look for while they are walking. Once you have successfully hiked a few shorter trails start to extend the distances and increase the difficulty. Before you know it you will be hiking fascinating trails and seeing parts of your area that you didn't even know were there.

After hiking, biking is probably the next most family friendly activity. Almost everyone can ride a bike, and children who are too small to ride can sit on an adult's bike. Make sure that all of the bike tires are inflated properly and that everyone is wearing the proper safety equipment, and set out. Like hiking you will want to choose a shorter route initially. Try biking to a fun destination such as a local ice cream shop. Make sure that everyone knows how to safely ride with traffic if your route takes you along a major road. With some practice your family will be able to ride longer routes and rougher roads, which will give you access to parts of your hometown that you would not normally see.

If you are looking for something a bit less strenuous than hiking or biking, then try a trip to the beach or to a lake. Many people believe that these destinations are only fun in the summertime when you can swim. However, there are many things to do and see at a lake even during the fall or spring. Look for different birds or animals, talk about different sea creatures, or climb and play on the rocks or in the sand. Bring along a Frisbee or ball and play catch. Taking a trip to a lake or beach is an excellent way to get your family outside to play.

For families with older children, a picture taking adventure can be a fun way to spend time together. Simply choose a unique location and let everyone take pictures of whatever interests them. This is a great way for children to learn about photography or to have experience capturing their own memories. When you get home, spend time talking about each picture and digitally processing them together.

Book Review: The Singing Nurse Health Lessons for Kids

,
HOW TO MAKE ANIMATION VIDEOS:

Runny noses, sore throats, cavities - sometimes being a parent can seem like one eternal round of visits to one medical professional or another. And with few exceptions, children do not relish going to the doctor or the dentist. It usually involves fear, tears, and sometimes hysterical tantrums. The old saying goes, 'An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure,' but how can a harried parent or busy school nurse find the time and the right way to teach the children in their lives about health care in a way that will impact them without causing anxiety? The Singing Nurse has come to the rescue.

Dawn Ginese, R.N. is a singer-songwriter who uses her musical talents to teach preschool and elementary children good health habits, as well as allay fears of medical professionals. She became inspired to compose health-related songs when she worked as a nurse for an early childhood Head Start program. Using the songs as inspiration, Ginese has developed a book for parents, teachers and health professionals entitled The Singing Nurse Health Lessons for Kids. Incorporating song, art, and motion, she addresses important health issues in a fun and engaging way.

There are eight lessons on the following topics: hand washing, dental hygiene, visiting the dentist, flu prevention, Lyme disease prevention, visiting the audiologist, body parts, and self-esteem. The lessons are nicely laid out with desired objectives, materials needed, lesson preparation tips, and the lesson/activity. Each lesson features a song, and lyrics are included both in the body of the lesson and as handouts for children and parents. There are many optional activity suggestions, as well as take home papers and parent letters so that parents will know what their children have been learning about health care. The Resource Section has full-color cut outs and word strips for playing games and making health booklets and collages.

The Singing Nurse Health Lessons for Kids can be purchased as a download or a Book/CD package. The book is spiral bound and is printed in color on high quality paper. Mp3 recordings of all the songs, such as Rub-A-Dub-Dub, The Dentist is a Good Guy, and The Tick Song (Have you ever sung the word 'ehrlichiosis' before? I know I haven't), as well as PDF files of the entire book and of individual lessons, are included on the accompanying compact disc. As a bonus, you will get a sneak peak of the first video of the upcoming Singing Nurse Animation Project.

This book (found at http://thesingingnurse.com) is a terrific value for anyone who wants or needs a non-threatening, interactive way to teach basic health care to children. In fact, I think there are many adults who would also benefit from this information. I think I need to go brush my teeth. 'Tooth decay... no way!'

Leslie Denning, better known as Miss Leslie, is a private music teacher and early childhood music education specialist. You may learn more about her at http://musicwithmissleslie.com.
